The Scarlet Hotel – Nebraska Innovation Campus

Construction on the 115,000 square foot Marriott-affiliated hotel, began in March of 2020 and was completed in January of 2022. The Tribute Portfolio hotel opened in May 2022 with six-stories and 154 Nebraska-inspired guest rooms and suites. The boutique hotel includes a full-service signature restaurant, a coffee shop, a rooftop bar, gym and flexible event space. At The Scarlet Hotel, University of Nebraska–Lincoln students in hospitality, tourism, and restaurant management can gain real-world experience in a professional learning environment. The hotel not only offers accommodations for guests attending events at the Innovation Campus conference center, but also provides an ideal setting for businesses hosting clients, just a short distance from the Devaney Sports Center. The Scarlet Hotel is constructed near the intersection of 21st Street and Transformation Drive, adjacent to The Rise, which opened in 2018.
