Douglas County West Community Schools – Middle School Expansion & Renovation

Rainwood Development Partners worked with Douglas County West Community Schools (DC West) to pass their levy neutral bond issue in the Spring of 2021 by providing pre-bond assistance and community education. RDP was then selected by DC West to provide Owner’s Representative services for their $16.8 million middle school expansion and renovation. This project consists of:

38,000 sf of new construction including:
- a middle school addition
- ~500 seat auditorium with fine arts classrooms
- restrooms and concessions for the softball complex
34,000 sf of renovation including
- classrooms
- weight room
- locker rooms
- wrestling/cardio room
- multi-purpose space

It is anticipated the the project will be complete for the 2023-2024 school year.
