The Center for Advanced and Emerging Technology (CAET) adds to MCC’s Fort Omaha Campus Center of Specialization in the trades and technology areas. The CAET is a facility that allows for community outreach and workforce development throughout the region. It brings the resources of MCC together with business and industry to provide highly responsive workforce development and technology transfer services to assist employers in remaining competitive. Together, MCC students, faculty and industry partners learn, test, apply and develop new technologies. Corporate exhibit space, entrepreneurial productions labs and economic development partners are the hallmark of the CAET. It is the goal of the CAET to provide and drive training where it is needed and uncover opportunities of the future in critical facilities management, building automation systems, building maintenance, technology and transportation, data centers, simulation labs, fabrication labs, business incubators, office and work spaces.
