Baxter Arena Extension Building

A new 5,000 SF extension building for the University of Nebraska-Omaha was built opposite Baxter Arena in Omaha, NE. Baxter Arena is a multi-use facility that hosts a variety of University sports, community events, and concerts. The extension building will house the necessary equipment and materials to continue to operate Baxter Arena at its current capacity. The new Behlen building has four overhead coiling doors, climate control, security cameras and card reader access. Additional site work was completed within the extension building’s parking lot and the Baxter Arena loading dock area to better service deliveries and buses. New bus power connections were also added, along with new landscaping throughout the parking lot islands.
